The Will’s Run 5k, Fun Run & Walk has been rescheduled for October 4th at 10:00 A.M. Out of an abundance of caution for participants and all involved due to the Corona Virus, this is the rescheduled date originally set in May.
If, by this date, there is still a lingering Corona virus or other health concern that presents itself, we intend to make this a virtual race so everyone can participate in Will’s name. But, with hope, everyone can join us in person to celebrate his memory and spirit.
The Will Goodale Memorial Foundation Board of Directors thanks everyone that participated in our 5k last year and hope you all return. Please encourage your family and friends to join us this day for a wonderful run/walk/roll through beautiful Meridian Township parks. During the race you will be guided through the course by Will’s wonderful smile while wearing a Michigan State Police hat and listening to some of his favorite songs to encourage you along.
At this race, we intend to offer and present scholarships to two students enrolled in a Michigan police academy to help them achieve Will’s dream of being a police officer.

The event will be at the Meridian Township Complex following the same pre-set route as last year. The race will begin at the hood of a Meridian Township Squad Car and participants will follow a Meridian Township bicycle officer through the course.
This is an official Playmakers sponsored and Michigan Running Foundation timed event. Results will be posted during the race and online at Playmakers.com.
Packet pick-up will be the day before and morning of the race. Awards will be given to the winners of each group.
People of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate in this run, walk and roll event.
